John is a Senior Investment Officer at Climate United focused on Distributed Generation.
Prior to Climate United, John spent 5 years in the private equity department of FMO, the Dutch development bank, investing across emerging markets globally. At FMO, John was an Investment Officer focused on direct equity, fund, and co-investments in utility-scale and distributed generation, energy transition technologies, resource efficiency, and sustainable infrastructure. John began his career working in early- and growth-stage startups and is excited to help create ambitious new solutions to build a stronger, greener, and climate-resilient American economy.
John holds a B.A. in History and English from Tufts University and an MBA from the F.W. Olin School of Business at Babson College. He lives in southern Rhode Island with his wife and two young daughters.
